Mary Ellen Diez - Broker/Realtor

Mary Ellen Diez is a long time resident, having moved here in the early 1960s with her husband and four children, when her husband entered into law practice in Englewood.

Immediately before coming here, she was in administration at the University of Alabama Medical School in Birmingham, Alabama.

She has been active in community affairs, having served on Boards of Directors of: Englewood Area Board of Realtors (past president), Elsie Quirk Public Library, Loveland School,(past Chairman), CARE of Charlotte County, Courtside Tennis Club, and is presently a member , and past Chairman, of the Sarasota County Englewood Community Revitalization Agency.

She was licensed as a real estate salesman in 1979 and became a Broker one year later. She owned and operated Sea Place Real Estate in Englewood for 13 years. She then joined an independent Brokerage, and became affiliated with Manasota Key Realty, Inc. in 2000, as a Broker/Salesperson. She has a vast range of experience in both residential and commercial sales in the Sarasota/Charlotte county area, with a particular interest in investment properties. For many years she held Master Appraiser designations from the National Association of Master Appraisers, including residential, farm and land, and commercial appraisal.

Her avocation continues to be active involvement with the community and the real estate profession, with emphasis on rendering very personalized service to her clients.
