Doug Kaff - Realtor

Doug has been in the Real Estate business in Florida since 1991. He has substantial experience in representing buyers, having started his career as a buyer’s representative. He knows the Englewood, Manasota Key and Gulf Cove areas very well. Put his experience to work for you. He and his wife Judy Kaff work together as a team or independently.

Doug grew up in Mt. Morris, Illinois. Academically he was a merit scholar and was a dean's list student at Illinois Wesleyan University where he ultimately was graduated with a B.A. degree. While at Wesleyan, he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity and also served as president of the inter-fraternity council. After school, Doug went to work for General Electric completing their financial management training program. GE moved the family from Illinois to Ohio, to Puerto Rico, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and finally to Lakeland Florida. He then returned to school and received a master's degree in Adult Education from the University of South Florida. Doug then earned his real estate license and originally worked as a buyer's broker. Coming to the Englewood area and buying property on the Myakka River led him to specialize in waterfront real estate.

His hobbies include boating and golf. He knows the value of waterfront homes and where the best fishing spots and golf courses are located.
